Does this shape appear in other series?   No, but it appears elsewhere in the Early Series as Early Series 174 - see below.

Height; 9.5 - 10 cm

Three examples are recorded, each clearly and unmistakably incised 274. The shape, however, is the same as Early Series 174 which raises the suspicion that 274 might be just an error made while incising numbers.

One piece has had 174 added in pencil and on another the incised '2' is overwritten in pencil with 1, presumably corrections made before leaving the pottery.
