174 (Later Series) Chamberstick & ashtray
This shape is uncommon, probably reflecting small production - by the late 1940s when it was introduced, candlesticks were no longer the standard household item they once had been, particularly chamberstick models such as this. Nevertheless, according to a shape-book entry it did re-appear a decade or more later, in the Kerryl range. There are also examples that are un-numbered and unsigned but clearly Remued Later Series.
Dimensions; height 5 - 6 cm, diameter 10 - 11 cm.
Long Gone Antiques & Collectables,
Warrnambool, Vic.
