Does this shape appear in other series?  Yes - Early Series 425  and  'A' Series / Kerryl A109 . 

The full Posy Ring is Later Series 163.
There were also earlier half-ring vases but of somewhat different form; see Early Series 60.

A surviving fragment of a Premier Pottery order book from November 1954 includes an order for half a dozen, all white stipple like this. Ordered by the Carnegie Gift Shop in suburban Melbourne.
