Does this shape appear in other series?  Yes - Early Series 317 , 500 Series 510 and 'A' Series / Kerryl A28.   'A' Series / Kerryl A119 is also similar according to a shape-book entry but no example is recorded.

Two sizes are recorded, with inch suffixes 8 and 10.

For Later Series pieces, exact dates of manufacture are seldom possible. They are never marked with a date as some Early Series pieces are. This 8-8 vase however is firmly believed to have been made in 1946. The owner writes " My father briefly worked in a pottery in Preston shortly after coming home after the war. We think he bought it from the factory in 1946."
