3 (Early Series) Slender flaring waisted vase
Does this shape appear in other series? Yes -
Later Series 36 is like 3/5 except that it has ribbing near the bottom.
Early Series 338 is also similar to 3/5 but with ribbing plus applied decoration.
Two sizes are recorded, with inch suffixes 5 and 6.

3 (Early Series) TWO SHAPES
This is one of those Early Series numbers that was assigned twice, first to a PPP shape (which briefly took the Remued name before being discontinued); and then to a Remued shape.
A single piece is recorded numbered
3 but with
Early Series 118/5 shape. Presumably just a mistake, although a comparable situation is also seen with pieces numbered
4,
5 and
8.
