WAVY or FLUTED RIMS
Pieces with rims or lips that are wavy, rippled, fluted, undulating (excluding the undulation of jug-spouts).
Where present, this is a diagnostic feature. Unlike some other decorative elements such as ribbing, or twig-handles, a wavy rim is not an 'optional extra' that may be present or absent in the same-numbered shape. If present at all, it is present on every piece with that number.
